Many times you may have an image, idea/brief or even a vector that requires changes (customisation). Sometimes the brief may be as simple as adding/removing/changing a word. At other times, you may want to merge 2 or more images together.
The only way to do a vector conversion properly is to thoroughly understand the requirements and then redraw the item from scratch or to manipulate the existing vector (if it is high quality). There are many instances where a vector isn’t high quality attributed to reasons such as it was autotraced by software which can often to lead to an unstable vector (for example, it doesn’t scale as desired). There are countless examples where somebody has used an automatic tracing software utility to create a vector – which looks fine but prints with unpredictable results (thus potentially causing £100s worth of damage – after all, the cost of a reprint due to a bad vector often significantly outweighs the cost of getting the vector redrawn properly and the amount of time and energy wasted in reprinting the job.
At PrintAnyFile, we treat each order as a project, resulting in a vector that fits what you require.
We are passionate about providing a high quality product that works. We understand two areas very well – Vector redrawing and print. There are many vector conversion companies out there. However, from what we understand, we are the only company that offers this service and understands print.
We are probably the only vector redraw company in the UK that you can call (our phone number lets you speak to a real person rather than a machine or a virtual receptionist – although we do have an answer machine if all lines are busy). We often call clients if we have any questions – usually associated with the issues highlighted earlier. Addressing these issues from the outset simpifies the project and keeps costs down (many people have mentioned that our prices are half of what they were expecting considering the complexity of the redraw).
